Surprisingly we saw very little wildlife while at Cape Leveque but we are
always on the lookout. We didn't see any kangaroo at all, but did see this
lizard which was sunning itself in front of our tent as we packed up. I am
sure many people will say that they have seen bigger lizards etc, and yes
that is true, but this is the one we saw this day and we thought he was
rather cute so we had to take his photo and share it. Fortunately it was
happy to sit and stay a while.
Unfortunately Jake, Tim and Zoe, there were no signs telling us of lizards
in the area so we can't share that with you but as usual always on the
lookout for road signs warning of wildlife that we haven't seen previously.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
