I may have missed the sunrise but I certainly didn't miss the sunset. The
sunsets around 5.30 pm and it seems to go from a lovely blue sky to dark
within a very short time. We took the car up from the beach shelter to the
main resort area (which is on top of the cliffs) and parked to watch the
glorious sunset over Western Beach. It was quite spectacular.
After watching the sunset we went down on to Western Beach for a walk before
heading to the restaurant for dinner - no cooking for us for a change.
Everything about Cape Leveque and Kooljaman Resort is casual which is just
as well as we certainly didn't have "going out" clothes to change into to go
to the restaurant. Unfortunately the photo of Sharryn and Garey taken on
Western Beach is very dark so I haven't included.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
