While at Whalesong Café we took a walk along the track to have a look at the
camping area which was owned by the local Aboriginals. This camping area
was much more basic than where we stayed at Middle Lagoon and there was only
one camper trailer set up that we saw. The facilities were interesting - an
outdoor cool shower, outdoor kitchen and environmental toilet. We decided
that we were extremely well off at Middle Lagoon. The setting was beautiful
though and would have been a very relaxing stop off.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
