We had heard some very good reports of the restaurant at Kooljaman Resort so
when we planned our shopping for the five day trip we had decided we would
have dinner one night at the restaurant. We were not disappointed - the
chef is excellent and we can thoroughly recommend. We also took time out
from relaxing on the beach to have "real" coffee at the open café/restaurant
one morning. The view from the restaurant was really nice and it was a
lovely way to while away an hour or so.
Thought I would share some photos of the wonderful food we enjoyed at the
restaurant - these were the entrees and as the food was so good we each had
three courses! If visiting Cape Leveque it is important to know that no
alcohol is available for sale and therefore must be taken from Broome. The
restaurant allowed BYO.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
