to continue. This track was extremely deep sand and for some inexperienced
drivers we are sure that they wondered what they had struck. We enjoyed the
trip immensely and decided to travel the full distance of the peninsula
first and then stopped off at all the bays and camps on our return trip. So
the trip of 47 kms to the cape took us all day and was very slow going in
patches.
