Like some of the other national parks we have visited, we are amazed at the
very good facilities provided for visitors. This park had new BBQ's with
gas provided (no dollar needed here to get them to work) and toilet
facilities. This BBQ was at Bottle Bay which is nearly at the tip of the
peninsula. All the areas had such facilities and the camping areas had a
number of toilet facilities to cater for the campers. Excellent facilities
and well worth the $11 charged for each visiting vehicle - camp fees were $7
per adult and from memory $2 per child.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
