We really enjoyed our twenty four hours at Edith Falls. We didn't do either
of the two walks (we decided it was too hot to walk and cooling off in the
water was much better).
The camping area was very popular. By evening it was full to overflowing
with some people camped in the day parking area. It is unusual to get a
national park camp where there is flushing toilets and hot showers so it is
not surprising that with a price of $18 for a couple or $19.50 for a family
this place is so popular.
We had a great site with plenty of grass and shade. We find that we visit
these places and really enjoy them and wonder if we will ever get the
opportunity to visit again. Perhaps we may stop over again on our return
trip to Katherine.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
