It took three days for Taura to get used to us staying in her home - up
until then she quietly let herself in to have her meals in the hope that we
wouldn't hear her. However, we are now friends and she "talks" to us when
she comes in to make sure that we know she is inside and ready to be fed.
She always eats her meals up on the stool as the family also have a dog (who was being cared by family members) so we kept to her normal routine and fed her there as well.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
Sounds like you are enjoying the cat, next you will have a caravan cat!!
