The seaweed foreshore at Cervantes, WA

After our visit to The Pinnacles at Nambung National Park it was late in
the day when we arrived at Cervantes, our overnight stop. We booked into
the caravan park which is on the foreshore. Cervantes is very similar to
Lancelin in that it is a lobster fishing town and from the look of the
houses some of the fishermen make plenty of money. The beach was a little
disappointing as it had thick seaweed piled up on the sand so I am sure that swimming would not be too pleasurable.  It may be that the seaweed is only there at certain times of the year.  Again there were lots of sand dunes around the township.  We decided that there were more pleasant places to visit and stay so packed up and continued north.
