Our next stop was at Jurien Bay which is yet another popular holiday spot
for the people from Perth. As it is school holidays there were plenty of
holidaymakers about. A lot of structural work is being undertaken down at
the foreshore and they are certainly making this a very pleasant place to
stop. The remains of the old jetty can be seen and there is a swimming
pontoon in the bay. There were a few people in the water. There is a very
popular caravan park situated by the jetty. We stopped for a couple of
hours enjoying a walk along the foreshore and jetty before having lunch then
continuing on.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
