After our day at Cape Peron we re-hitched the caravan in Denham and drove
about thirty kilometres out of town to stay at Whale Bay which is part of
Shark Bay World Heritage Area. We arrived at about 6.30 pm and the sun was
just beginning to set. It was just beautiful.
The bay is one of four areas within Shark Bay that allows limited
free-camping. Up to four groups of campers can stay overnight, a permit
from the ranger is required and you can only stay twenty four hours.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.
