Picnic at Cable Beach

It has been great having Sharryn and Garey stay with us for a couple of
weeks. On one of the days we packed a picnic and headed down to the beach
with the intention of driving as far along the beach as we could. Our plans
soon changed, as the tide was in and there was no beach driving until later
in the day. Where the rocks are in this photo there is a track at low tide
to follow to drive around the point and then it is possible to drive along
the sand for miles. So we enjoyed our picnic on the grass instead. We were
entertained by the camels arriving for their afternoon excursion on the
beach.
