We intend leaving Frankston on Thursday, 1st March and head to Port Augusta via Mildura and Broken Hill. On arrival in Port Augusta we will collect our caravan, which has been in storage there since November. The plan for this stage is to head initially to Streaky Bay then to Ceduna, across the Nullabor Plains to Norseman, visit Kalgoorlie then south to Esperance and the Margaret River region making our way to Fremantle and Perth. We have approximately six weeks for this stage.
Gill and Peter like to travel. In 2011/12 they completed a trip around Australia. One of the things that they are aware of is the fact that to live your dream then you actually have to do something and that's what they did. In 2013 they decided to further explore outback Australia and crossed the Simpson Desert. Going forward they will continue to travel as they plan for the next few years. To see some of their other trips follow the links.

Commencing stage three
Greetings. The Christmas holiday period is now behind us and we enjoyed three months in New Zealand. We returned to Melbourne on the 20th February. We are pleased to be able to say that the parts for our Patrol had arrived from Japan and the repairs had been completed and the Patrol trucked from Port Augusta to friends in Melbourne. It is going well and after completing medical and other appointments in and around Melbourne, and catching up with friends and family, we are now ready to hit the road again.
